About Us

Hi, I’m Ana Lobato, a Brazilian heart who lives in Austin, Texas.  I came upon doll making when I was trying to figure out the true purpose of my life. I wanted to create something special with my hands – something that, with every stitch, would allow others to feel the love that I want to share with the world.

From that, Matilda Purrfect was born. Each Matilda is unique and (like our love for one another) no two are the same. My mission is to spread love, healing, and kindness around the world by providing children that have been victims of sexual abuse with their very  own Matilda doll.

I believe this simple gift can provide a wounded child with a new friend that they can confide in and trust in for the rest of their life.
